Getting to Champaign-Urbana

By Car

Champaign is located near two major interstates—I-74 and I-57. We are approximately 150 miles south of Chicago, 100 miles west of Indianapolis, and 175 miles northeast of Saint Louis.

We recommend parking your car at your hotel instead of trying to navigate campus parking, but please feel free to contact conference planning staff for parking advice if you will be driving. All conference lodging is either in walking distance or we will offer shuttle service to and from the hotels that are a little further out from campus.

By Air

Willard Airport (Airport Code: CMI) is approximately five miles from campus and is easily accessible by cab and bus. There are several flights each day that easily connect you to O’Hare International Airport in Chicago.

By Train

Another option to get from Chicago to Champaign is AMTRAK. Several trains each day run between downtown Chicago’s Union Station and Champaign’s Illinois Terminal.
