Theoretical Orientation:
Utilizing an integrative framework, my work adopts a transdiagnostic approach culminating in a third-wave cognitive-behavioral basis. Notably, I incorporate experiential techniques from dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and expressive therapies, amongst others. Advocating for the therapeutic space to explore, brainstorm, and challenge oneself, I aim to create a safe environment to help students better understand themselves and the world around them.
Professional Interests:
Assisting young adults with difficulties related to mood, anxiety, and substance use, I am working on forming my expertise in areas of interpersonal functioning, such as relationship distress and familial conflict. Further, my work also includes managing concerns surrounding disordered eating, body image, and self-esteem.
