Alcohol and Other Drug Outreach Team

Body

The Alcohol and Other Drugs Outreach Team provides programming, workshops, and information about safer substance use. We base our information on a harm reduction approach. In other words, we want students to know how to use alcohol and cannabis safely so that they don’t face negative consequences.

  • Myths and Facts About Cannabis Informational Tabling
  • Alcohol Safety Events
  • Risk Management Workshops for Student Organizations
  • Bystander Training
  • Partnerships with the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District to provide harm reduction supplies.
  • Skill-building workshops, Cannabis Harm Reduction, and Creating Alternate Alcohol Plans and training programs, Harm Reduction Peers, and ACE IT are also under the Alcohol and Other Drugs outreach team.
