Theoretical Orientation:
My theoretical approach is rooted in both person-centered and humanistic frameworks. My goal is to create a safe and inclusive space for individuals who are ready to develop new tools, explore patterns, and uncover personal strengths that will result in their mental wellness, healing, and acceptance. I incorporate CBT; Solution-Focused Brief Therapy; mindfulness; and motivational-based techniques that are practical and unique to each individual.

My professional interests include the following: BIPOC populations; African-American women’s mental health; spirituality/holistic care; trauma-related disorders; LGBTQIA+ populations; family and cultural identity; Grief; Anxiety; and Depression.
