What is outreach?
We didn’t come with user manuals to tell us what we need to be well. Most of us could use some tips for how to take care of our overall wellness so that we can be mentally well and meet our goals. That’s what outreach does. We offer consultations, workshops on any number of mental health topics, general information about our services, brochures, handouts, social media, and web pages to provide education to the campus community.
To request an outreach, please submit our form (and kindly give us at least two weeks advance notice).
Why do outreach?
One of our goals is to promote wellness to all students. We know that wellness looks different to everyone and might not include only counseling. We strive to meet students where they are—and offer wellness programs in residence halls, classrooms, and through RSOs—and any other avenue that allows us to connect.
