The University of Illinois Counseling Center strives to offer students the tools they need to be successful. It's common for students to need assistance building skills to cope with the stress and challenges of college life and beyond. As such, we offer several series of "mini-courses" designed to help build academic and stress management skills. In Focus: Assists students who have ADHD or ADHD-like symptoms.
Perfectionism: Focuses on recognizing when perfectionistic tendencies can be harmful and how to implement coping strategies to better manage.
RIO: Offers students a chance to develop skills to recognize and understand their emotions and determine what changes they'd like to make in their lives. RIO stands for recognition, insight, and openness.
