Theoretical Orientation:

I value collaborating with my clients and meeting them where they are at in the present moment so I primarily draw from person-centered theory. I also integrate elements of CBT, ACT, EFT, relational, and Adlerian theories as well. Within the therapy space, this looks like approaching our work together non-judgmentally and with acceptance while also incorporating identifying core beliefs and values, focusing on emotions, emphasizing the therapeutic relationship, and utilizing a holistic lens. Ultimately, I hope to work with you to co-create a space which feels warm and supportive where you feel comfortable being openly and authentically yourself.

Professional Interests:

I am passionate about advocating for and providing affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals. My other interests include outreach and prevention, interpersonal challenges (difficulty with friends, roommate conflicts, communication with romantic partners or family members, etc.), identity exploration and development, life transitions, social justice and advocacy, and mood disorders.
