Theoretical Orientation:
I often use cognitive behavioral therapy to help make sense of the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and I also draw from mindfulness-based approaches like acceptance and commitment therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to support healing and growth. I care deeply about providing culturally responsive care and take time to understand each person’s unique story, values, and lived experience. I see therapy as a place where we can be curious together about patterns, emotions, and possibilities for change.
Professional Interests:
My professional interests include trauma, social anxiety, anxiety and emotion regulation, substance use concerns, and outreach programs.
